May 17, 1854
Last will and testament of Jonathan Jones, deceased, filed and held over
at last term of court for widow and children to be present. Proved by
Samuel G. Richards who also proved signature of R. W. Ming. The widow
and following children of hers to wit; Mary Susan Pope, Jos. A. Jones,
William P. Jones, James T. Jones and Bennett H. Jones came into court and
waived the right of summons in recording said will.

The court ordered Joseph L. Dodson and Isaac Blackburn to inventory and
appraise the estate of John Wagoner, deceased.
The will of Jacob Crowder proved by W. T. Weaver who proved the signature
of W. D. Oliver. Thomas M. Goodnight took the oath of administration with John A. Motley and H. W. Motley as security. Ann Crowder, widow, relinquished her right to administer. William Oliver, Theoderick A. Meredith and G. B. Strait were ordered to inventory and appraise the estate.
Pleasant Emmerson was appointed guardian of his son A. D. Emerson, over
14, his son S. P. Emerson, under age l4, and
his daughter Josephine L. Emerson, under age 14.
Isaac Landers will was proved by John Johnson and Armstead Meredith.
John Landers and Jacob Landers agreed to be executors and made bond with
Isaac McMurry, James Motley, Thomas Ayers, Samuel Landers, Bryant Landers
and Doctor Landers as security Zachariah Motley, V. Willoughby and
Charles Johnson were appointed to appraise and inventory the estate.
Will of George Wagoner was proved by A. S. Walker and A. A. Harvy.
William S. Wagoner, executor, made bond with T. T. Williams, William Dodd
and David Wagoner as security.

administration and Samuel E. Carpenter was appointed with A. S. Walker,
John Catlett, Henry Brown and Samuel J. Read as security.
R. P. Ellis, administrator of Nancy C. Blewitt, made bond with M. E. M. Ellis
and Granderson Terrill as security.

Moses Mayhew appointed guardian of his infant sons William D, Mayhew,
